City council agreed to an addendum of the purchase agreement at Monday's meeting.  The agreement will allow Yorkston Oil Company to exercise their option to purchase a little over an acre of airport property they currently lease from the city.  Gateway LLC has waived the review period and environmental inspection. The earnest money deposit has been made and an application for a general binding site plan has been submitted. Gateway LLC is looking forward to having an accepted site plan and breaking ground shortly thereafter. What type of businesses would you like too see in the commercial mixed use area?  

The Blaine Municipal Airport located at the border crossing on I-5 will be redeveloped for commercial use.  North of Boblett St. will offer commercial/mixed use lots for sale and south of Boblett St will offer light Industrial/manufacturing lots for sale.
