This American orphan is so isolated that I need to go through two border crossings to get there. My trip was to see for myself two beautiful one acre lots that Hardy & Associates are selling. This might be the perfect spot for a small boutique hotel or guesthouse.

I drove from Bellingham, WA to the Peace Arc border crossing located in Blaine showing my passport to Canadian officials. Now in Canada, I continued on for another 25 minutes through the Canadian town of Tsawwassen to the US/Canadian check point leading into Point Roberts. Having showed my passport a second time I gain entry in to this unique outpost of America. Tucked away and isolated from the rest of the States, PR takes on its own quiet sense of calm. Surrounded by the beautiful water of Puget Sound/Georgia Straits life seems to slow. This is it, a perfect opportunity to develop a truly unique hotel. www.bhardy.com
